  • 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Northshore Trail - MADD Shelter

Registration

  • Expert riders are highly advanced and experienced. They are able to ride the most advanced technical terrain and have the experience to know when to get off the bike and run. Experts are at the peak of physical strength and endurance, and have the mental stamina to ride through significant pain.
  • Sport class riders generally race the same courses as Expert riders. They are experienced mountain bike racers and are able to ride most technical terrain. While not quite physically at the same level as Expert riders, they are in excellent physical condition. Sport riders have developed important racing skills such as passing in awkward conditions and pacing.
  • Novice riders are most often beginner racers. They are not necessarily able to ride all the technical terrain, or complete all the climbs that Sport and Expert riders can. Novice race courses are often, but not always, shorter or easier than Sport or Expert courses.

DSS Race Team, this ride is exclusively for you!

Join us at Northshore for a team training ride. You don't have to be on the race team to join us! If you would like to push yourself by riding with faster women, and enjoy a flowy ride with no stops, then this event is for you!

This is not a skills teaching ride! You must be able to navigate a trail and know when it's appropriate for you to get off of your bike and walk when necessary. It is intended to help you learn and practice race tactics, which can include dismounting and running your bike over obstacles. Come ride with your sisters where we will ride a shorter loop multiple times to practice passing opportunities and dial in our race lines. Groups will be separated by the category you register for. If you want an extra push or a rabbit to chase, you are welcome to cat up to a faster category for this ride!

First-time racers meet 15 minutes BEFORE the rest of the group. Meet at the DSS van at 5:45 PM.

Remember to ALWAYS ride within YOUR own limits and skill level. This ride is intended to motivate you to push hard while still encouraging you to ride smooth. Your health and safety is our number one concern. Safe is FUN! Ride at your own risk and please read the entire liability waiver.

  • You will be in charge of your A,B,C's - Air, Brakes, Chain, Skewers (SEE VIDEO BELOW)
    • Helmets and closed toe shoes are required
    • Bring your own water and nutrition

To stay aligned with the COVID-19 protocols from the Texas Department of State Health Services, we will NOT have our community water jug available.

Ride at your own risk and please read the entire liability waiver.
