Join us for our 2nd Annual Trail Hopping Winter Shakedown!! We'll be starting off the morning at 10:30 AM at the Parks of Aledo Mountain Bike Trail (302 Point Vista Drive, Aledo, TX 76608). This trail is great for beginners and first time riders, offering six miles of fun and flowy singletrack. We will have first-time rider, beginner, beginner-intermediate, and intermediate groups led by our PMBIA certified MTB instructors.
Arrive by 10:30 so you can sign the waiver, pick up your name plate, and get a quick bike check. Be ready to ride by 11:00 AM. Wheels on dirt after our group picture at 11:00 AM!
You do not have to be a paid member to join us!
After riding the trails of Aledo we'll drive over to Quanah Hill (~10 miles away | 229-499 W Lake Dr, Weatherford, TX 76087) for another exploration ride. We're aiming to arrive at Quanah Hill around 1:30 PM if you want to meet up for the second half of the day. Feel free to message us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/dirtsidesisters) if you would like updates on how we're coming along on time. This trail is ~7 miles and offers plenty of flowy singletrack with a good mixture of climbs and fast, steep downhills to increase the fun factor! If you don’t want to join the second ride, there’s a cute little diner near by to grab a bite to eat. Please note: We will NOT have a first time rider group at Quanah Hill, but we will have beginner, beginner-intermediate, and intermediate groups led by our PMBIA certified MTB instructors.
Do you have friends curious about riding but they don't have a bike yet? No problem. They can borrow one from us! Just have them shoot us an email at info@dirtsidesisters.org to reserve a bike from our fleet FREE of charge.
